NLP Research ScientistLondon, UK (on-site)IC Resources is seeking a Research Scientist to join our client's team in London, UK. The successful candidate will conduct both academic and applied research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning, particularly focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and related tasks. Please note a PhD and publications in top-tier NLP/ML conferences is a pre-requisite to be considered.Primary Responsibilities:Lead and participate in innovative research projects related to NLP and LLMs.Build benchmarks and baselines using public datasets.Develop and train LLMs for various novel and practical tasks.Contribute to research papers published in top-tier conferences and journals.Mentor junior team members and research interns.Engage with external academic partners, delivering talks and fostering collaborations.Essential Experience:PhD in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, or a related field.Strong track record of research with publications in top-tier NLP/ML conferences (e.G., ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML).Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in diverse, multicultural teams.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional research groups.Desired Experience:At least 2 years of post-PhD experience in research within academia or industry.Deep knowledge of LLMs, foundational models, and associated evaluation frameworks.What’s On Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Private medical insurance.25 days holiday.Pension scheme.And much more!Interested?
