Job Description


Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Modelling & Performance Lead to join their dynamic team in either Stevenage or Bristol on a 12-month contract basis. This role is essential in delivering sophisticated defence capabilities through advanced modelling and simulation activities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting simulation and modelling of the entire RF Seeker chain from radar propagation to embedded software algorithms
  • Developing and auto-coding algorithms directly from models
  • Performing simulation validation and data analysis
  • Undertaking technical report writing to document findings and recommendations
  • Collaborating with the delivery team to rapidly test, iterate, and deliver projects
  • Ensuring configuration control and adherence to model release processes
  • Managing project constraints including budget and risk assessments
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing

Job Requirements:
  • Experience in modelling and coding
  • Extensive algorithm development expertise
  • Proficiency in simulation validation and data analysis
  • Strong technical report writing skills
  • Desirable experience with MATLAB and model development in Simulink
