AXA Retail's Customer Communications Team leads the delivery of customer‑facing communications across all AXA Retail brands. The team monitors performance across digital channels, complaints, operations, claims, and journeys to ensure our communications are optimised at every touchpoint. We hypothesise, conduct AB tests, design messages, and drive cross‑sell and upsell opportunities to deliver improvements that benefit both customers and the business.


What you’ll be doing

  • Translate business goals into measurable metrics and define data‑driven success criteria.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to produce reports and dashboards.
  • Monitor key digital metrics and support regular reporting to ensure journeys and communications deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with other business units (e.g. Trading and Pricing) to deliver customer‑centric, on‑brand, data‑led communications within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain data quality across the AXA Group customer pool and contribute to planning, design, and execution of targeted campaigns to drive commercial value and loyalty.
  • Manage stakeholder approvals and documentation for auditing, governance, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure security, compliance, and identify opportunities to improve data quality and efficiency across the CRM solution and customer databases.
  • Act as Data Steward for AXA Retail, enabling hyper‑personalised experiences powered by advanced analytics as the AXA Retail data ecosystem reorganises into capability‑based teams.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimise performance.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio (Data Studio) for analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including data integration and campaigns.
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience for dashboards and data visualisation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics data pipelines, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and PySpark (Python).
  • Knowledge of SAS, IBM MDM, or similar Master Data Management tools and data governance fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to process and analyse customer data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to present to senior audiences with a focus on data quality and compliance.
