OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Administrator & Data Analyst to work for a major client based in Immingham. This is a long term contract position.

Basic Function: Providing Data Analyst and Administration Support role is integral to the Maintenance business team, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role is responsible for providing cross-functional support and participating in analytical processes. Additionally, the role encompasses administrative duties to ensure seamless operations within the team.

Critical Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging confidently with colleagues.

  • Excellent organisational & multi-task skills. Able to work under pressure and deliver to set timelines.

  • Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing and data enrichment techniques, using data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI

  • Proficient in al Microsoft 365 applications

  • Preferred knowledge of SAP

  • The ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).

  • Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team. Keen to learn and develop new skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to change. Leads change initiatives positively, striving for continuous improvements.

  • Proactive and holistic approach to problem solving.

  • Confident and professional in dealing with suppliers, vendors, peers, and managers.

    General Duties:

  • Provide cross-functional support and participate in other

  • analytical processes by sharing expertise to create a

  • forward-thinking attitude.

  • Create and manage Power BI metrics to increase Routine Maintenance effectiveness.

    Data Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the maintenance business team to understand challenges, identify opportunities for digitization and efficiency improvements.

  • Perform data analysis, including data gathering, cleansing, validation, and quality control, to uncover trends and patterns and drive informed decision-making.

  • Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards in Power BI to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including SAP.

  • Take ownership of running regular reports, carry out ad-hoc data requests, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, reporting, and AI applications.

    Administration Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Actively collaborate with business support team members, providing cross-functional support to various areas as needed.

  • Manage a variety procurement tasks in SAP including material purchase requisitions and management of materials.

  • On an ad hoc basis provide assistance with managing technical documentation.

  • Perform various SAP administration tasks including PPM changes, back log management and housekeeping
