What You'll Do
As part of the team, you will be working alongside a group of analysts responsible for the evaluation and analysis of key campaigns and activities across the Sparks programme. You will be measuring the performance of initiatives such as CRM and offer campaigns, as well as larger strategic proposition projects. Championing best practice in the use of data in campaign planning, design and customer experience
Evaluation of Sparks campaigns - working with Campaign Managers and Analytical teams on ensuring the test & learn structure of campaigns are fit for evaluation. Analysis of Direct Mail as well as ad-hoc personalised offer activity including test and learn, and long term DM strategy Working with Data Science of analytical / evaluation requests to help optimise targeting Presentation of monthly/quarterly evaluation and analysis packs to stakeholders Development and enhancement of Connect reporting through Power BI, automation of any regular business as usual reporting to allow prioritisation of other evaluation and analysis Working with stakeholders on continuing development of existing Sparks and Bank dashboard reporting Generation of customer insight analytics to enable the complete comprehension of the loyalty programme, playing a key insight led role in crafting the Spark’s future.
Who You Are
Passionate about analytics and able demonstrate a detailed understanding of the customer, their behaviour, characteristics, and relationship with M&S. Demonstrate an analytical ‘curiosity’ through innovative, data driven insights about business questions. Exceptional problem solving, analytical and numerical skills. Strong knowledge of advanced SQL across big data tables. Exposure to Big Data and RDMS environments such as Hadoop Impala / Hive / Azure Synapse / Data Lakes would also be advantageous. Experience visualising data and presenting analytics with the ability to translate technical data to be easily understood by non-technical colleagues. Knowledge of analytical coding languages such as Python, PySpark, or R and experience using Power BI or similar relational model type visualisation tools would be desirable.
