The role As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the implementation of advanced analytics to deliver communications intelligence, driving actionable insights within our FinTech and RegTech product portfolio. You'll work within a cross-functional agile team, collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality SaaS products. Your role will ensure the organization can operate enterprise-grade machine learning at scale efficiently. The Machine Learning Engineering team develops and maintains the ML infrastructure, tools, and analytics that power intelligent applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate solutions for complex challenges. Serve as a subject-matter expert in machine learning, FinTech, and RegTech, providing technical leadership and guidance. Assess various solutions and recommend the best approach. Work with Product Management and engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality features. Simplify complex technical solutions into clear abstractions. Influence product designs and collaborate with Principal Engineers/Product Managers. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance, security, and scalability issues. Participate in incident management and implement proactive fixes. Manage tasks using tools like JIRA and engage in code reviews for continuous improvement. Promote best practices, mentor team members, and contribute to agile ceremonies. Perform additional duties as needed. The Ideal candidate Proficient in JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) and Python Experienced in NLP, ML-Ops, and data pipelines Skilled with ML frameworks/libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) Strong grasp of ML algorithms, statistical techniques, and data analysis Expertise in data processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and tools like Amazon SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks Familiar with model servers (Triton Inference Server) Background in AI/ML-based analytics for FinTech/RegTech Knowledgeable in microservices and event-driven architecture Experienced with Kafka, RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres), and building scalable ML applications Proficient with container platforms (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Argo CD) Skilled in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and API design for distributed systems Bonus points if you have Strong understanding and experience in continuous software delivery. Strong understanding of ML business and technology domain. Expert programming skills in relevant languages. Deep understanding and experience in software architecture/software engineering.
