A leading international wealth management firm with an outstanding track record of success is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in their data strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation by leading data engineering efforts, including designing architecture and managing a team of talented engineers.

The successful applicant will take ownership of the firm's data engineering strategy by collaborate with senior stakeholders and product owners to design and manage scalable, modern data architectures as well as lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of engineering .

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £90,000 to £110,000 + Excellent Benefits

Requirements

At least five years of experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions on platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks. Proficiency in developing data pipelines using Java, Spark, Scala, and Python. Hands-on experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure or AWS. Proven track record of managing or leading teams of five or more engineers. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, including at C-suite level.
