iO Associates is recruiting an experienced Lead Data Engineer on behalf of an exciting business in the eCommerce industry. This is a great time to join a growing Data team in a business that is undergoing significant digital transformation in line with it's evolving Data strategy.
What will you be doing?
Designing, developing and deploying robust data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT Providing Technical leadership and mentoring and upskilling the team, allowing the Head of Data and Analytics to focus on strategical management Implementing best practices for data modelling, storage and retrieval to ensure scalability, reliability and performance of business data infrastructure. Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define data engineering solutions, and drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making. Continuously improving Data processes as new technology is implementedWhat are we looking for?
Strong Data Engineer experience utilizing tools such as Snowflake and DBT Leadership experience and proven successful in mentoring team members Some degree of architecture experience with proven examples of being involved in design phases Experience working with huge data sets ideally within a commercial sector An inquisitive nature and a creative problem solver, proactively finding solutions and improving processes to improve flow times and success ratesIf this role sounds of interest, please apply and we will be in touch regarding your application.
