We’re looking for a Lead Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our product, engineering, risk and compliance teams to help drive data-driven decisions that would support building and scaling risk controls and assurance across our products.
The focus of this team is to ensure continuous regulatory compliance across all our product streams. We’re the team that builds guardrails that ensure that our customers can transact on the platform with a peace of mind, knowing that their accounts and funds are kept safe, and products adhere to global regulatory standards.
How You’ll Contribute

  • Scale and improve our risk data infrastructure to enable our regional teams to dissect metrics at granular levels to proactively identify and mitigate against drivers of risk.
  • Building out the metrics to monitor our controls and ensure that they are performing as required, as well as supporting control testing processes.
  • Establish control efficiency frameworks by analysing whether controls are effectively reducing risk while not adversely impacting growth.
  • Partner with product, engineering, product risk and compliance and other cross-functional stakeholders to influence decisions with data around regional controls and risk.
  • Partner closely with FinCrime to add a regional lens on global risk engines to ensure local risk typologies are monitored and appropriately managed.

Ideal Candidate Would Have

  • At least 5+ years of experience
  • Strong analytical mind and product intuition, centered around the banking and financial industry.
  • Technical skill-set in Python, advanced SQL, BI tools
  • Experience working with technical teams (PMs, engineers, analysts)
  • Relevant experience in a data driven and complex environment with limited guidance
  • Understanding of events data - Mixpanel / Google Analytics / Amplitude or similar
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate data into compelling narratives
  • Hustler-mentality. You can take work beyond the analysis and get things done.

Good To Have

  • Experience in Financial Crime and/or Customer Onboarding domain
  • Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem
  • Knowledge of utilities like Airflow/Github/DBT
  • Experience with user-facing products and data

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: £75,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience and interview performance)
