CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is a fast-growing digital freight forwarding start-up within Wayfair, moving containers globally to Wayfair’s shelves and beyond. We offer a full suite of shipping services, providing Wayfair suppliers with competitive and efficient logistics solutions.

We aim to become the leading freight forwarder for our suppliers by expanding into the European and UK market by working in partnership with our high quality suppliers. During this ambitious period of growth, we are building an energetic and motivated Account Management team to support our Service team. 

What you’ll do: 

Managing a portfolio of suppliers across the business, you’ll build strong relationships with suppliers acting a true strategic advisor for growth, securing the best rates and executing negotiations expertly. You’ll present value propositions to your suppliers, identifying needs and implementing improvements based on data driven analysis. 

Using key metrics,you’ll develop strategiesto improve supplier and overall team performance, driving positive changes in collaboration with wider teams for a joined up approach. 

Whilst you will predominantly be based out  of London, you will need tovisit key supplierson occasions and attend trade shows where required to add a personal touch to your relationships. 

What you’ll bring: 

  •  Proven success operating as within a Business Account Management/ Client Account Growth role ideally in the logistics/transportation industry with a strong operational background 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in economy, management, supply chain management or business administration or qualified by experience. 
  • The ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with suppliers (C-level) and internal stakeholders. 
  • Experience in building customer relationships and addressing negative feedback head-on, and resolving issues quickly.
  • Collaborative self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, and respond positively to changes.
  • A data driven and analytical mindset, someone who shows a strength in handling and manipulating big data sets, identifying insights and converting into business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
