Description This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation based near Manchester that has recently expanded its data science department and is looking to bring on junior members to train and progress through the company.
This is an ideal opportunity if you have graduated with a numerical-related degree and are looking to develop your career in an analytical field. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, highly numerate graduate to make a significant difference within a well-established and rapidly growing organisation. What you'll be doing….
Proactively and collaboratively develop Analysis and Insight to support Operations
Report-making to help deliver optimal management decisions
Identify, quantify and prioritise opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and produce world-class deliverables fit for a world-class operation to drive continuous improvement.
Apply analytical and technical ability to ensure the team delivers the highest standards of analysis and reporting to key stake holders
Numeric degree ideally to Masters level (min 2:1)
Working knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPY, PyTest, Java and R
Understanding of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, classification, and regression
Previous experience presenting information to key stakeholders
Nice to haves……
Previous experience using Generalised Linear Regression Modelling
Knowledge of Bayesian Statistics and Monte Carlo Simulation
Experience with Azure: Azure Databases, Azure Databricks
Proficient use of VBA's
