Your Role: Get hands-on with tech support, assisting in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems.

Dive into the action by helping install, configure, and maintain a variety of IT equipment and applications.

Become a problem-solver, gaining real-world experience in identifying and resolving IT issues for users.

Collaborate and innovate with the team on impactful IT projects and cutting-edge initiatives.

Explore emerging tech like GIS Systems, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Sensor-based IO technologies, and 5G Communicationsbringing fresh ideas and the latest tools to the table.

Shape the future of Port operations by contributing to enhancements of the Port Management Information System (PMIS) and Terminal Operating System (TOS).

Help document IT processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.

Partner with our strategic cybersecurity experts to bolster our cyber defence strategy, aligning with NIS-2 compliance and elevating our security posture.

Have a genuine enthusiasm for the maritime industry, paired with a passion for how tech can drive innovation in port operations.

Support key users throughout all phases of projectsfrom data management to testing, training, and ongoing support.

Required Skills: Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, including computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and Microsoft 365.

Hunger to learn and grow your expertise in IT support and system administration.

Sharp problem-solving skills with an analytical thinking approach to tackle technical issues.

Top-notch communication and people skills, with the ability to explain tech in a user-friendly way.

Qualifications and Experience: Recent graduate with a 2.1 or higher Honors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Some experience or a proven strong interest in GIS systems, such as ArcGIS, would be preferred.

A familiarity with virtualization and cloud technologies.

Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

A good grasp of cybersecurity standards and best practices to ensure safe operations.

Have a knowledge of IT service management and project management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2) to drive successful IT initiatives.
