Role Description:

Manufacture and modification ofInjection Mould Toolsin a modern, well-equipped toolroom with advanced machinery includingHurco Machining Centres,Sodick Wire Eroders,Sodick CNC Spark Eroders,Jones & Shipman Surface Grinders, in-house design usingPro Engineer, and CAM programming withPowermill.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operating manual milling machinesfor tool manufacturing and modification.
  • Operating lathesfor precision tooling.
  • Using surface and cylindrical grindersto finish tool components.
  • Utilizing manual and CNC spark erodersfor detailed electrical discharge machining.
  • Operating CNC wire eroderfor wire cutting of tools and moulds.
  • Modification & repairof existing Injection Mould Tools.
  • Manufacturing and fittingof new Injection Mould Tools.
  • Using hand toolslike files, hacksaws, and grinders for fine detailing.
  • Generaltoolmakingexpertise includingmilling, grinding, and fitting.
  • Wiring of Hot Runner Systemsand troubleshooting or fault finding.

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Provenexperience in Injection Mould Toolmaking, high-precision machining,milling,grinding, andfitting.
  • A strong understanding ofcomplex mould tool assembly, fitting, repair, and modification.
  • Ability to work totight timelineswhile maintaining a focus onqualityandsafety.
  • Skilled inmaintaining, repairing, and modifying Injection Mould Tools.
  • Experience inpreparing new Mould Tools for Production.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of asmall business team.
