Infrastructure Project Manager | Contract | £600/day Inside IR35 | Central London | 3 days on-site

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a global service provider. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering industry-leading workplace technology and data centre projects across the EMEA region. This includes: project delivery, strategic services, infrastructure design, implementation, and operational excellence across workplace technology and data centre environments.

Experience Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, workplace technology, and data centre services delivery
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure technology - Compute (servers, blades, UCS, O/S, application delivery etc), Storage (SAN, NAS, Archiving, Backup, replication etc), Networking, Data Cabling etc.
  • Strong understanding of Data Centre IT Infrastructure Principles I.e. Cabinet and Cabling systems, Management Systems (BMS, EMS, KVM, ILO, power delivery, monitoring and management, environmentals etc.
  • Expert understanding of workplace technology systems including Audio Visual, Security, and low voltage cabling for smart buildings
  • Good understanding of Industry Trends I.e. Virtualisation, Big Data and, CLOUD Services etc. as well as the move in Data Centres i.e. Modular Build Facilities, Colocation
