Arms Machine Learning (ML) Group is seeking a highlymotivated and creative Software Engineer to join and lead a growingteam of brilliant engineers located in Cambridge, UK specialisingin ML frameworks and compilers. This role presents an opportunityto contribute to sophisticated ML technology supporting Arms MLHardware. You will help to build the software that enablesdevelopment of deep learning applications in many ground-breakingfields including self-driving cars, generative AI engines andML-powered wearables. Job Description: The ML Tooling team islooking for a software engineer with line management experience whocan build a range of innovative compiler solutions for a variety ofmarkets. You will apply your experience and insight to craft andoptimise compilers for machine learning networks that target Arm’sCPUs, GPUs and NPUs. Responsibilities: ● Contribute to deliverproduction-grade software and push the boundaries of MachineLearning compilation ● Recruit, develop, support and retain yourengineers working as part of a larger team ● Build, extend andcollaborate on innovative ML compilation software projects, such asTensorFlow, PyTorch, TOSA and the broader MLIR ecosystem ● Workwith other groups in Arm to expand support for Arm architecture andecosystem Required skills and experience: ● A passion for softwaredevelopment and quality ● Line management of a small team (4-8engineers) ● Proven experience with C++, understanding of Python isa plus ● Experience with the full software development lifecycle -planning, designing, developing, testing, delivering, andmaintaining production-quality software ● Experience with orinterest in compilers ● Desire to learn new skills and technologiesand work in a highly motivated team ● High degree of initiative andproblem solving skills ● Ability to own teams delivery and leadothers on large or more sophisticated tasks ● Excellentcommunication skills.
