As our Engineering Head ofWellbeing, you will lead the teams responsible for the delivery ofour well-being and fitness products. You will drive theimplementation and execution of our wellbeing initiatives ensuringthey are robust, scalable, and secure amidst a rapidly evolvingtech landscape. You will guide a highly skilled Engineering teamtoward the creation of a global wellbeing platform meeting theneeds of both users and merchants. You will oversee delivery acrossboth web and mobile apps with an API-first cloud-based approach,applying your knowledge to simplify and refine operationalprocesses. Some of Your Responsibilities & Core Duties will beto: * Lead initiatives to enhance the fitness and wellnesscapabilities in our platform, aligning with the trend towardspersonalised mobile-first wellness experiences. * Contribute to thedefinition and delivery of Engineering roadmaps, anticipatingtechnical challenges and managing interdependencies. * Oversee theentire software development lifecycle, from conception todeployment and maintenance, ensuring high-quality outcomes acrossall phases. * Implement best practices in coding, testing, andmaintenance to enhance system scalability and performance,particularly for high-traffic events. * Ensure compliance withhealth and wellness industry standards and regulations, integratingthird-party wellness tracking technology solutions with a seamlessuser experience. * Set a high bar for software engineeringexcellence, emphasizing efficiency, performance optimization, andhigh availability. * Being a mentor to tech leads and managersacross the Engineering organisation. The Experience and Key Skillsyou will have: * Proven experience leading and managing large teamsor projects in a user-centric fitness and wellness area. *Understanding of machine learning techniques in the context offitness and wellness technology. * Strong technical expertise inAPI development, coupled with a deep understanding of softwarearchitecture and design patterns. * Expertise in cloudtechnologies, particularly AWS, with the ability to deploy andmanage scalable cloud-based solutions. * Extensive knowledge offitness and wellness technology solutions, including insights intouser engagement, digital health strategies, and mobile wellnesstechnologies. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,capable of making data-driven decisions. * Experience communicatingwith senior stakeholders including executives, partners, andvendors. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously evolvingenvironment, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
