Your purpose in the role

As our Head of Strategic Marketing you are responsible for creating and, working with others, implementing a strategic market plan that amplifies our global brand presence and extends our market reach.


You will be responsible for defining our market segmentation, developing ideal customer and partner personas, and capturing our value proposition. Additionally, you will oversee our brand strategy, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels.


You will role will include the management of our creative team, guiding them in delivering impactful content and visuals that resonate with our global audience. Your success will be measured by your ability to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that drives brand recognition, trust, and growth.


What you’ll do to succeed

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the organisation's strategic goals and financial targets; Create a global marketing plan that balances cultural differences with a unified brand message; Oversee the development of market segmentation, customer personas, value propositions, and brand guidelines, ensuring clear communication to practitioners, customers, and partners.
  • Brand Strategy and Management:Develop and implement a brand strategy that reinforces our purpose, differentiates us in the market, and builds trust and recognition; Ensure brand consistency across all channels, maintaining a cohesive identity; Lead and mentor the Creative team to produce innovative, impactful marketing content.
  • Market Insight and Research:Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to shape the marketing strategy; Work with the Research team to ensure data-driven, customer-focused marketing plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with the Strategy and Change team to align marketing with organisational goals, and with Product and Innovation to ensure marketing reflects the product roadmap; Work closely with Sales to align marketing with channel strategy, and partner with the Head of Demand Generation to integrate strategic marketing with demand generation efforts.
  • Budget and KPI Management:Manage strategic marketing and branding budgets, ensuring alignment with expected outcomes; Define and track KPIs for all marketing strategies, reporting performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Agency Relations:Establish and manage relationships with external agencies.


Experience and Skills

You have extensive leadership experience in senior marketing roles, such as Head of Marketing or Head of Strategic Marketing, with a proven ability to develop and implement successful market strategies. It's essential that you have B2B, B2B2B experience, while additional B2C experience would also be desirable.


You'll be able to demonstrate how your strategic planning skills have enabled you to drive marketing plans that support organisational growth. You have successfully managed global brand equity, ensuring consistency across regions while adapting to local market needs. Knowledge of America, EMEA and APAC markets is desirable.


Additionally, you bring valuable experience in both direct and indirect marketing. Your background in integrated marketing, including digital marketing and event strategies, has been instrumental in building and enhancing brand equity.
