About the Role

We are seeking aGraduate Data Scientistto join the business at a pivotal stage in its growth. This is afoundational hire, where you'll be the first data-focused employee and have a real opportunity to shape the company's data strategy from the ground up.


Our client operates across a number of key industries, includingcontract catering,care homes,property management, andindustrial services, with major contracts in thepublic and private sectors– including healthcare, education, and government.


The Opportunity:


This is a rare chance for a recent graduate to make a genuine impact. The organisation’s data is currently siloed across multiple business units, and senior leaders are looking to transform this into acentralised, accessiblesystem that supportsreal-time decision-making,cost savings, andoperational efficiency.


You’ll work closely with executives across the group to identify opportunities for data-led improvements, build robust reporting solutions, and lay the foundations for a future data team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct a data audit across various departments and business units
  • Clean, integrate, and standardise datasets stored across different systems and platforms
  • Build interactive dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Deliver insights that support strategic decisions across operations, finance, HR, and procurement
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Contribute to defining a long-term data strategy, including infrastructure and tooling recommendations


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • A recent graduate inData Science,Computer Science,Statistics,Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge ofPythonandSQL
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • A genuine passion for data and solving real-world problems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
