Executive Vice President of AI

Remote – United Kingdom

Up to £225,000 + bonus + equity

I’m working with an ‘ed-tech’/assistive technology company looking for an EVP of AI to join the business and define the AI strategy both internally and for future Gen AI-focused products.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have a solid and demonstrable background of operating at a strategic level within an AI-focused company/product team. You’ll need to be someone who can lead a cultural and organisational reboot and have the communication/stakeholder management skills required to obtain buy-in from the wider business, including investment at board level when needed.

The current product offering has NLP at its core so a solid background working with text-based Gen AI solutions would be a distinct advantage, however, given the challenges this company is looking to solve, experience with any audio and visual related solutions are welcome.

We’re not necessarily looking for people with X number years of experience, this is much more about finding people who embrace innovation and have moved with the rapid pace of development in recent years. Technical understanding is key, but your stakeholder ability is equally important.

Essential criteria:

• Multiple years spent in an AI related leadership position.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences and obtain buy-in from the wider business.
• Track record of developing a range of Gen AI solutions and ML models.
• Solid grasp of cloud based ML infrastructure.
• Proven experience reporting to C-suite and delivering value and ROI from AI initiatives.
• Preference for those who have worked for established businesses over very early stage startups although both would be an advantage.

This role is predominantly remote based but we're looking for people who reside in the United Kingdom.
