Our UK-based end-user client is looking for a Master Data Analyst to join their internal IT team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is focused on managing and maintaining core master data within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) and ensuring data quality and consistency across the wider IT estate.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems (ideally JDE but open to similar systems), a strong eye for detail, and an analytical mindset. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation and play a key role in improving data governance and operational efficiency.


Key Skills and Experience:


  • Previous experience in a data-focused role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, or similar
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Understanding of complex data structures and relationships
  • Knowledge of data governance and master data management best practices
  • Ability to mentor and support users on effective data management
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Professional, adaptable, and a strong team player


Requirements:


  • A-levels or equivalent (essential)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (essential)
  • Familiarity with ITIL and service management processes (desirable)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee product data setup for new product introductions in JDE and i-Theses, including item creation and data validation
  • Support users with JDE functionality and provide guidance on best practices
  • Audit user access, manage new user creation, and monitor the impact on security and licensing
  • Maintain metadata codes and lookup tables; ensure consistent application across systems
  • Manage master data service tickets via Freshservice and contribute to process improvements
  • Ensure integrity of data flows between JDE and other IT systems
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure data consistency and accurate reporting
  • Support business projects by assisting with data setup and ensuring data readiness
  • Continuously monitor and improve overall data quality across systems


Location:Midlands/ Hybrid
