This is a functional role within the IT Supply Chain team for the business region of Europe providing subject specialism,

technical knowledge and work prioritisation of the Epicor system. The Epicor system is used across both Dudley Industries (UK)

and Rentokil Initial Services (Europe) and is a third party application.

Purpose of the role:

To maintain and support the Epicor system by identifying and resolving issues, managing support requests, ensuring SOX

compliance, and providing necessary architectural and infrastructure support.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Epicor Solution Design and Development:

● Design, develop, and implement Epicor system solutions based on business requirements, including customisations,

integrations, and enhancements.

● Write and optimise code for BAQs, BPMs, custom dashboards, and other Epicor components.

● Create new customisations to meet business needs.

● Work cross-functionally to develop and implement Epicor system solutions.

Data Management:

● Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.

● Build and maintain SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and Crystal reports.

● Perform data migration using DMT and ETL tools.

● Review system data and change requests to ensure data integrity.

System Support and Maintenance:

● Provide technical support to Epicor users, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

● Support Epicor version upgrades and patching (Epicor 10 & Kinetic applications).

● Perform application and database performance tuning to optimise system performance.

● Support the underlying Epicor architecture, infrastructure, and OS as required.

● Provide Service Connect application support.

Reporting and Analytics:

● Design and develop SSRS reports and dashboards to meet business intelligence needs.

Compliance and Risk Management:

● Ensure SOX audit compliance through user access reviews and analysis of system change requests.

● Identify, assess, and manage risks related to Epicor projects and system changes.

Stakeholder Communication:

● Liaise with Epicor users within IT and the business to clarify requirements, communicate changes, and ensure effective

collaboration.

Requirements

Experience:

● 1-3 years of experience in a data analyst role or a related IT support role.

● Some experience working with ERP systems, preferably Epicor, is desirable but not essential.

● Experience with SQL querying and reporting tools is a plus.

● Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is beneficial.

Skills:

● Technical Skills:

○ Basic understanding of ERP systems and data structures.

○ Foundational knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.

○ Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS.

○ Basic understanding of data analysis and data management principles.

○ Proficiency in Excel/Sheets

● Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

○ Ability to analyse data and identify trends or discrepancies.

○ Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach.

○ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.

● Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

○ Good written and verbal communication skills.

○ Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.

○ Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

● Other Skills:

○ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

○ Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

○ Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

Education

● Relevant qualifications to the technical and analytical requirements of the role

● Relevant certifications or coursework in SQL, data analysis, or ERP systems are a plus.
