Environmental Data Analyst
Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
Contract Type: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Rate (PAYE): £175 per day

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Data Analyst to join our high-profile energy client's Environment Team on an initial 6-month contract. This role is critical in supporting regulatory reporting and environmental performance tracking-with a strong focus on data cleansing and integrity.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Environment Manager, you will be responsible for managing, analysing, and cleansing large sets of environmental and sustainability data. A key focus will be the identification and removal of legacy or redundant assets within the system-ensuring the data is clean, current, and fit for purpose.

This role will be 3 days per week in the Bristol office to allow for close collaboration, system shadowing, and support from technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleanse and manage environmental datasets, removing obsolete assets and correcting inconsistencies
Support monthly and annual environmental reporting (e.g. KPIs, Environment Agency)
Assist in compiling data for Business Carbon Footprint, PCBs, FFCs, and Science-Based Targets
Collaborate with teams across the business to collect, validate and present data
Help develop new tools and maintain reporting templates and dashboards

What We're Looking For:

Strong data management and data cleansing experience (essential)
Excellent Excel and spreadsheet modelling skills
Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems (advantageous)
General awareness of environmental issues and reporting standards (IEMA Associate or willing to work towards this)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant qualification at Level 4 or higher
