How you'll make a difference
The Enterprise Data Architect plays a vital role in shaping and driving the direction of our data framework, while also offering technical guidance in the relevant sector. You will be instrumental in crafting and deploying the overarching data technology strategy, ensuring it resonates with both present and upcoming business requirements.

With a profound grasp of architectural practices and data technologies, you'll adeptly map out our current landscape and comprehensive data structure, while also steering the design and roll-out of future plans. Working alongside teams across the business, including both internal and external IT stakeholders at all levels, this collaboration aims to align with the enterprise data strategy, adding value through data-driven solutions.

What you'll bring
• Proven knowledge and experience of working with Architecture framework (BIAN and TOGAF), owning Artefacts and socialising and presenting them to review boards considering all aspects of Architecture.
• Experience in designing, architecting and transitioning business critical services from SAS, Teradata to Strategic Modern Platforms, via Transition States.
• Deliver and recommend design options, patterns, produce architectural blueprints
• Experience in designing, architecting, and implementing business critical services using Microsoft Azure - AI Architecture and Pipelines, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Open AI, AI Models, RAG, Prompts.
• Knowledge and best practice understanding of patterns for real time and analytical use cases.
• Specific experience, knowledge and understanding of cost models - on prem vs Cloud, Teradata, Azure
• Proven ability in assuring and designing data migrations, including technology choices, reconciliation approaches and implementation strategies.
• Expertise in Data Archival Strategies and technologies.
• Thought Leadership, Collaboration, Communication.
