Enterprise Data Architect

Circa £650-£700 per day, Outside IR35

6-month contract initially

Located in UK – On site once per fortnight

We have an urgent requirement for an Enterprise Data Architect, on behalf of a global organisation who operate within Life Science’s. You will be an integral part of the newly formed Enterprise Data Office team, overseeing how they handle their company data to ensure it's well-organized, secure, and serves the needs of the business effectively. It is essential that this candidate has experience defining strategies at enterprise level across a whole organisation; business enterprise experience is essential alongside commercial experience with Purview / Collibra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with various IT teams and data governance teams to support the development of data products such as Data Mesh and analytical solutions.
• Defining and managing the company's key data structures and strategies, ensuring consistency across different business units and projects.
• Developing strategic and practical plans for data architecture and management.
• Ensuring projects follow best practices and standards.
• Collaborating with business functions and project teams.
• Promoting and guiding technology choices.
• Designing data structures for different business needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience with either Purview or Collibra.
• Experience in Data Platform and Data Management Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modelling.
• Familiarity with data regulations.
• A solid understanding of IT architecture principles.
• Knowledge of data platforms and cloud technologies.
• Familiar with Data Mesh approaches.
• Commercial experience defining Metadata principal strategy at enterprise level.
