Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer – £50k - £60k – Cheltenham – Semi remote

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a well established Electronics Manufacturers based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. They are now seeking an Embedded Software Engineer ideally with experience working on Robotics, to help deliver key projects for in a highly lucrative industry! You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop a range of bespoke products.

The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer ideally with solid experience writing Firmware for Low power, low memory devices.

Due to the nature of the job, the company will require mostly onsite work with some flexibility.

Key Skills:

• 4+ commercial Embedded software experience
  
  
• Good commercial experience design microcontrollers
  
  
• Serial comms experience (SPI, I2C etc)
  
  
• Good experience working on Robotics & automation products
  
  
• Previous experience working on GNSS & Navigation products is highly desirable but not essential
  
  
• Knowledge of ROS using C++ is highly desirable but not essential
