Specializing in the repair and maintenance of critical rail components, including auxiliary converters, train motors, and passenger information systems, KO2's client is the trusted go-to when the original manufacturers are no longer an option. They pride themselves on extending the life of complex electronic systems where parts are often obsolete or the manufacturer has fallen short.
Role:
As anElectronics Engineer, you will work to reverse engineer rail system parts, determine their function, and repair them. You’ll take on projects that require creating custom testing procedures, from Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to hybrid and manual testing, using platforms like Matlab and LabVIEW to ensure accuracy. After diagnosis and repair, each part will be rigorously tested before release, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into rail systems with zero operational issues.
In addition, theElectronics Engineerwill perform condition assessments for clients looking to expand the lifespan of their products. This involves assessing and recommending component upgrades based on advanced electronics knowledge—an area that contributes to 80% of revenue.
