Senior Data Engineer

Data Architect - Surrey - Up to £95,000 base salary


My Client are a well-established Surrey-based business who have provided financial services across the UK & Ireland since the 1980s.


With approximately 500 employees across their Surrey and Dublin offices, they are authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. They are currently seeking an experienced Data Architect to support the Data and Architecture team with their ongoing transformation projects.


Essential Requirements:


  • In depth experience of defining and successfully implementing data architecture frameworks
  • Proven track record architecting flexible data solutions to support both operational and analytical use cases
  • In depth experience delivering data management capabilities for example data lineage solutions, master data management, data engineering, and data marts.
  • Proven data integration and data platform design and implementation experience delivering solutions that are scalable, secure, performant, reliable, etc.
  • Experience building logical and physical data modelling and data modelling tooling
  • Consistently looking for practical and pragmatic solutions, that are easily implementable
  • Willingness to get their hands dirty and support other team members in getting things done.
  • Strong MI report writing skills, including data mining using SQL Tools


The role will be hybrid working with 1 day per week on site required in their Surrey office.
