About the role

The ECommerce Data Analyst role will focus on growing eCommerce sales & winning market share on the digital shelf.

Your main responsibilities

  • Optimising Digital shelf & all relevant pillars
  • Super-user for the Perfect Store/digital shelf tool
  • Support local teams with the maintenance of inputs required to ensure accuracy of reporting
  • Working closely with the tool provider to ensure seamless management and minimal issues.
  • Deep diving into the tool to understand performance improvements by metric for all our key markets across the group.
  • Working closely with the markets to illustrate opportunities to improve performance across our core perfect store KPIs.
  • Providing analytical support for performance reporting, setting plans, and KPI targets globally.
  • Cooperating with the Perfect Store community, sharing best practices, and implementing learnings from other markets.
  • Support with broader eCommerce projects and initiatives

Management of Data

  • Amazon market share & sales data, retail media & promotional analysis
  • Ensure data is centralized, current, accurate, and easily accessible for supporting teams.
  • Work closely with the data agency to facilitate the achievement of the above objectives.
  • Extract actionable insights from data to drive customer-level decisions.
  • Develop and maintain automated data processes for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to refine and optimize sales strategies and processes.
  • Track and produce key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress.
  • Generate reports for both internal and external audiences using business analytics tools.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions and provide timely insights.
  • Select and utilize the most suitable data tools to achieve optimal results.
  • Design queries, compile data, and generate reports using Excel and Power BI.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Attend weekly functional meetings internally and externally.
  • Support and follow-up actions with the sales and agency teams.

  • Performance improvement of Perfect Store KPIs

This position interacts mainly with

  • Internal partners: Group eCom, Country eCom Managers, sales and marketing managers, group and local finance, IT
  • Customers/consumers: consumers via insights management
  • Providers: Insights/Research agencies, Innovation agencies

Competences:

  • Strong background in data analysis, with a preference for experience in digital eCommerce.
  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Generic/personal competences
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex findings and present insights clearly and concisely.
  • Professional, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Collaborative team player, able to effectively work with marketing, finance, and other departments as needed.
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn.
