Job Overview We are looking for an E-commerce Sales Manager/Growth Manager to join our exciting haircare company to elevate our web customer experience and therefore grow our sales. Our e-commerce platform, Shopify requires hands-on management to elevate our customer experience and support purchases. Your role will be the daily sales and operational management and operation of our current webshops (floracurl.com and floracurl.co.uk) with the opportunity to open new localised websites. Key Responsibilities Web Product Management Set-up of new product or lines and maintenance of the online product catalogue Maintain product launch calendar and ensuring products are added to the site on time Ensuring product information is up to date and accurate and product listing categories are organised according to business needs Web Content Management Curate and manage our library of digital assets for the webshops Manage on site visual merchandising to create a visual and consistent experience for our customers Set up, co-ordinate and execute all digital marketing and promotional activity Work closely with the marketing team to update content in line with marketing activities Collaborate with in-house design team for content creation, creating briefs and providing direction on needs; ensures content (copy/image/video assets) is on brand and optimal for digital performance Ensuring the webshops and all pages are consistent across websites and kept up to date with correct offers, gifts with purchases, updated banners, new in products/brands, regularly updated category pages Using apps to monitor sales and review sales reports to make recommendations Update content on web sites Including banners, squares, USPs, product descriptions, category headers etc. Deliver best in class customer experience partnering closely with the customer care team to brief, create copy and build engaging product pages that provide the customer with relevant information, advice, and conversion opportunity Support the team in the development of the websites in collaboration with our web developer Manage all apps, reviews and customer feedback Daily web shop optimisation, bug fixes, error spotting, and troubleshooting with relevant third-party support teams Web Analytics With support from our Web Content & Data Analyst, you’ll analyse and review the Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales and product performance reporting Monitoring key site metrics including GP, Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, AOV, Exit Rates, Traffic (new and returning) etc. Using data analysis and insight to support the e-commerce strategy and provide ideas for improvement In addition to this, you’ll delve into: Competitor product and pricing analysis - to ensure we are price competitive and market leaders in the industry Using analytics and our in-house reporting to understand the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategy Web Sales Setting sales goals and targets for our e-commerce platforms Developing and executing comprehensive e-commerce sales and marketing strategies to drive ecommerce customer acquisition, sales, engagement, and retention. Analyse and optimise various e-commerce strategies through data-driven insights and A/B testing to maximize ROI. Support the planning and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase growth through the following channels: E-mail marketing: Ideating email automations and flows for nurturing customers Ad management: working with external ad agencies to run effective facebook and google campaigns Subscriptions Reviews Loyalty SEO Developing the internationalisation strategy, identifying the next markets to enter Establishing new ways to acquire customers and subsequent customer management for retention Key measures and targets CRM readiness: Ensure the CRM system is optimsied, including customer email journeys. Site visits: Drive traffic to our website. User acquisition and retention: Increase our user base and keep them engaged. PPC cost effectiveness: Optimize paid advertising spend. Required Experience 4 years of experience of using the Shopify platform (Shopify Plus is a bonus) and Shopify apps Experience in e-commerce sales development Beauty (skincare, make-up or haircare) e-commerce management Understanding of brand aesthetics, imagery and graphic design Demonstrated experience in website content updates A good knowledge of e-commerce and sales conversion best practice is advantageous Beneficial Knowledge and Experience Google and Facebook Ads Klaviyo Working with external advertising agencies Product copywriting SEO Google Analytics Graphic design Basic knowledge of HTML Website internalisation: localised currency, translation, multi-currency Multi-lingual Skills and Qualities Strategic thinker: Capable of developing a growth marketing strategy that aligns with business goals. Experienced digital marketer: Skilled in creating, analysing, and iteratively improving digital marketing campaigns. Analytical and reflective: Embrace a test-and-learn mentality, using data to drive decisions. Effective written communication: Strong writing skills for crafting compelling content. Budget management: Familiarity with budgeting and cost-effective marketing practices. CRM proficiency: Ideally experienced with CRM systems (such as Braze). Email expertise: Ability to ideate and copywrite engaging emails using pre-designed components. Collaborative and innovative: Work well within a team and bring fresh ideas. Flexible and goal-oriented: Willing to adapt to achieve team objectives.
