Their Engineering Information Services team transform traditional data into actionable insights that allow clients to optimize operations and efficiency. Key to this is a talented team of Engineering Data Analysts.

About the role:

As an Engineering Data Analyst, you will be required to read and understand engineering drawings and documents, focusing on data tag numbering to enable the transformation from paper to digital. As well as leading that transformation process you will support other team members with their understanding of Engineering Data, allowing them to further develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:



* Read and understand key engineering documents and drawings.

* Extract technical data from engineering drawings and engineering documents.

* Design, build and document complex relationships between data and documents.

* Build hierarchy relationships from process plant, instrument loop and electrical systems.

* Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

* Convert technical documentation into digital formats, enhancing accessibility and usability.

* Generate reports and visualizations to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

* Assist in resolving technical data queries and support related team members.

Requirements

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:

* Previous experience in an engineering environment.

* Understanding of engineering documents and drawing interpretation (e.g., P&IDs, data sheets).

* Ability to identify and extract key data from documents and drawings.

* Familiarity with data management best practices and ideally, ISO standards.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder engagement.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented office-based environment
