We are seeking an experienced Engagement Director whowill be accountable for designing engagement plans for Onyxproducts, leading the development and delivery of clear, consistentengagement material in alignment with those plans. This role willbe pivotal in ensuring a cohesive enterprise level connection ofResearch and Tech strategy to messaging with customers and thosecharged with delivering products to advance business goals. This isa senior level individual contributor role that combines leadershipas well as hands-on execution, operating as part of ahigh-performing team in support of various Leadership teams. We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced expert that is thestandard bearer for proper ways of working and communication,driving the development of product owners towards high quality andeffective engagement with their stakeholders. They will need tothrive in a culture of collaboration, curiosity, consistency,agility, quality, peer review, and continuous improvement withresponsibility to consistently work towards maximizing the impactof our products. Key Responsibilities: This role will provide YOUthe opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career,these responsibilities include some of the following: - Engagementplans: work across a matrix with stakeholders (Senior leaders,engineers and customers) to develop approaches for specific defineddeliverables that maximise impact, adoption and value aligned toGSK objectives - Engagement material development and execution:Drive clear and consistent messages utilising the best tactics andchannels available for delivery (e.g video, podcast, email, socialmedia, blogs); ensuring communication is fit for purpose factoringin leaders’ personal styles and what best serves the audiences. -Product Launch and Adoption: Create “playbook” for key product golive messaging ensuring product owners deliver effectivecommunication, training, and support materials to drive successfulproduct adoption and customer satisfaction. - Coach and developOnyx engagement capabilities: Grow leader engagement “muscles” sothat they can ensure employees, customers and partners aremeasurable engaged with Onyx deliverables and progress. - Alignmentto Tech Comms, GSK brand and Communication and Government Affairs(CGA) standards: Ensure that Onyx engagement aligns as needed tocore standards and GSK guidance. - Support Onyx LT and department:Collaborate with senior Onyx leaders to develop engagementobjectives, create Onyx enterprise messaging and feed into coreRDDT or Tech communication plans; ensuring Townhalls, Let’s talks,Events and organisational messaging/feedback are managedeffectively. - Manage engagement budget and vendors: Provideoversight of any external creative agencies to ensure Onyxcommunication deliverables are managed to time and budget. - Managespecific Onyx engagement channels: Oversee development andmaintenance of specific communication channels such as WorkVivo,GSKOnyx.Tech. - Co-ordinate any Onyx messaging required forexternal messaging: Work with CGA or other GSK partners ensure anymessaging required for external publication meets requirements,aligns with wider communication strategy and is appropriatelyapproved; specific focus on managing engagement relationships withkey Onyx Strategic partners e.g. Google. BasicQualifications: We are looking for professionals with theserequired skills to achieve our goals: - Bachelor’s degree incommunication related field or in Computer Science disciplinetogether with significant demonstrable engagement experience withinIT or Pharma company. - Strong and dynamic communicator withexcellent verbal and written communications skills. - Significantexperience of executive and employee communications delivery. -Experience of coaching leaders to increase impact with track recordof influencing key stakeholders. - Extensive experience developing,implementing and measuring engagement strategies and tactics thatsupport business objectives. - Digital content and media expertise.- Ability to manage time effectively without supervision and toorganize, prioritize and deliver tasks and projects with a sense ofurgency and close follow-up of any open issues.
