What you'll do

As a Delivery Manager, you'll project manage and deliver the strategy of innovation projects through all stages of the innovation lifecycle, from proof of concepts through to full design, build and integration. We'll look to you to explore the use of new data science techniques and approaches, such as AI and machine learning, and tools and technologies to deliver transformative business and customer benefit.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different franchises and functions within our bank, through our bank wide AI powered bank programmes, contributing to commercial discussions to bring innovative solutions to our customers and frontline colleagues. Day-to-day, you'll be working in Data & Analytics within the Data Science and Innovation Delivery team to help support the running of labs.

Additionally, you'll be:

  • Planning, organising and delivering projects individually or through project teams
  • Sourcing innovative ideas to build innovation pipelines that support our business strategy and are based on our customers' needs
  • Iterating and shaping propositions and projects, building on insights and testing with our customers' and commercial business needs
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues and preparing reports for executive audiences

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll have the ability to quickly deliver projects, preferably by using Agile methodologies. Experience of working in innovation or with data science would be an added benefit.

You'll also need:

  • Experience of changing organisational team or departmental mindsets, cultures and structures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
  • The ability to present complex information and ideas, with clarity, to build understanding and support
  • Good influencing skills and the ability to challenge constructively
