DescriptionJob Title Degree Apprentice Shared Services Data Analysis (CORDA) GuildfordLocation GuildfordSalary We offer a competitive salary with annual increases throughout the apprenticeship and a range of employee benefits including, free higher education as well as access to the Company pension and Share Incentive plan.What you will be doingAs a Data Analyst Apprentice in CORDA you will be working with a team of analytical consultants providing our clients with high-impact, evidence-based advice. During our 4-year Level 6 Analyst Apprenticeship you will gain a role-related degree, whilst delivering analysis for both BAE Systems business units and external clients in the MOD and wider Government.What does the Apprenticeship Involve?Throughout the apprenticeship programme you will be working on a variety of projects which will enable you to develop analytical skills and learn how to apply these to live problems.Data analytics is a fast paced, growing area within BAE Systems and as such, there may be the opportunity to gain experience by undertaking placements across different Business Units as well as your home Business Unit - Digital Intelligence. These placements will provide you with an opportunity to experience how analysis can be used to support a wide breadth of business decisions. You will develop skills and experience in using a range of analytical techniques and toolsets (e.g. Alteryx, R, Tableau, VBA, Python),At the end of the scheme, you will have had a good mix of academic and work-based learning experiences to ensure you develop the skills that will support you and the business in the future as well as a degree level qualificationWhat Qualification Will You Get?An undergraduate degree - a BSc/BA (Hons) related to Data Analytics. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
