Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for a Data Solutions Architect to join their business in the UK.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of expertise in solution architecture, business analysis, and IT management. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and execute advanced solutions, with a focus on creating high-level System Architecture (ARB1), drafting ITMS documents, and utilising senior resources effectively. The alignment/integration of 2 different data model/product approaches into one... would help show the area of experience we're looking for is very much in the data area, not analytics, UI, etc.

 Key Responsibilities:

High-Level Solution Architecture: Develop and maintain high-level solution architecture that aligns with business goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance on technology and application choices. Architecture pack for ARB1, sufficiently detailed plan/costs to go into PIP.

Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth business analysis to understand and define the requirements of various stakeholders. Translate business needs into technical solutions that drive business success.

ARB1 and ITMS Documentation: Draft and maintain ARB1 documentation and ITMS documents to ensure a clear understanding of architectural decisions and implementation strategies.

Senior Resources Management: Collaborate with senior resources and lead technical teams effectively. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Design and Planning: Lead the design and planning of complex technical solutions. Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

Common Data Model: Work on projects involving the Common Data Model (CDM) to ensure consistent and standardised data across the organisation. Implement data models that facilitate seamless integration and reporting.

Technical Solution Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help with the selection and implementation of appropriate technology solutions. Provide expertise in evaluating and adopting new technologies

Leverage Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data factory, Azure Synapse Analytics and other Azure components to build end-to-end data solutions.

Stay updated on the latest Azure offerings and best practices to optimise and enhance data engineering processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in a senior role.

In-depth knowledge of ARB1, ITMS documentation, and business analysis.

Azure certifications related to data engineering and solution architect.

Experience working with common data models and implementing scalable solutions.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

English language fluent required.
