As a Data Solutions Architect – Insurance you will be a part of the Insurance Practice where we help insurance companies transform the way they do business through digital powered customer experience & analytics/cognition enabled business transformation. Our transformation consulting framework enables modernization & complete digitalization of insurance organization. Leading practices include - Sales & Distribution Transformation, POS Transformation, Underwriting Transformation, Claims Transformation. Purpose of the Role: As the successful applicant you take accountability of supporting out client as a Data Solutions Architect on all their data requirement from end-to-end solutions. Your Responsibilities: As the Data Solutions Architect – Insurance you will: Define end-to-end solutions for Business Data Architecture Collaborate with existing Solutions Architecture team to develop consistent and compliant Data-Standards, architecture Work with the internal team to ensure reusable assets are identified and (data products) and develop clear and concise enterprise-data roadmaps Document work-to-be-done and status updates, execution of stakeholder engagement plan for visibility and feedback cycle Create designs that are fit for purpose from a functional, non-functional, service, and security point of view Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to the clients Business and IT strategy Act as a point of contact for delivery and execution for data related capabilities, ensuring an efficient, reliable, and resilient operation of the solution Mandatory Skills/Experience: Previous experience as a Data Solution Architect is mandatory / Enterprise Data Architect would be preferred Previous experience of working as a Data Solutions Architect within an Insurance company is preferred Understanding of insurance processes, ways of working, value chain Ability to gain a strong understanding of the client’s current data solutions architecture Ability to understand data requirements, boundaries, and considerations for solutions to be successful Previous experience in Data Solutions Problem Analysis, Options Development and Data Solutions Design Ability to collaborate with existing teams to develop consistent and compliant data standards, architecture Ability to produce relevant documentation for use across the internal solutions architect team and the wider business Ability to enable engineering teams in understanding and implementing data architecture Ability to facilitate and conduct workshops and manage client expectations Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Kanban, Jira and Confluence, concept of role of solution architect in an Agile project Ability to quickly understand the business issues and requirement and develop solutions Possess excellent presentation skills/visual representations skills Knowledge of insurance technology, systems, applications, and how they facilitate business solutions Your Benefits: As the Data Solutions Architect – Insurance you will receive a competitive salary, a generous benefits package and training & development in areas to help you improve.
