Data Scientist | Bristol (hybrid) | £50,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

An exciting Software and Analytics scale up is looking for a Data Scientist to join their growing data team.

Focused on the IoT devices arena, this Tech-for-Good company allows the housing sector to provide technology to those that need it most, and creates a safer environment for all to live in.

The role will include:

Develop algorithms to provide insights into the health of the properties of our clients using statistical analysis, ML models and physical models. Establish and maintain effective testing regimes for data scientific functions. Work with development teams to enhance the analytical infrastructure and deliver production ready code. Identify opportunities to innovate and optimise across the board, and to exploit new technology within the platform.

Experience required:

Degree-level qualification in a relevant scientific or numerate discipline, e.g. Computer
Science, Physics, Mathematics , Statistics, or Engineering At least 2 year experience in commercial data science, working with diverse data sets. Experience in implementing and validating statistical models and analytical algorithms in Practical experience of major machine learning frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, Pytorch, Pyro) Practical experience working with AWS, Python, SQL and Clickhouse.

Please note that you will be required to work in their Bristol office 4 days per week and one day from home.
