An exciting media organisation in London is looking for a Data Scientist to join them on a new forecasting project.

  • Based in London
  • Hybrid working, ideally 2-3 days a week in the office (flexible)
  • 6 or 12-month contract
  • Start date: End of June or early July
  • £70,000 - £80,000 pro Rata

The Job
As a Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building forecasting models to track digital content performance
  • Working with time series data, ideally using methods common in finance or trading
  • Incorporating NLP where relevant and sourcing external data to enhance models
  • Using cloud-based tools such as GCP, AWS, and BigQuery
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and clearly presenting data insights
  • Taking part in a single-stage, in-person interview that includes a live coding task

You

  • Strong experience in time series forecasting from finance, trading or logistics
  • Comfortable working with external data and applying NLP techniques
  • Confident using cloud tools (GCP, AWS) and BigQuery
  • Self-sufficient and able to work flexibly in a hybrid environment
  • Available to start at the end of June
