Location:Sutton

Under the guidance of Professor Trevor Graham, we are seeking to recruit a Data Scientist to support Data Science research at the ICR. The successful candidate will work on the analysis of spatial data, including multiplex immunohistochemistry, H&Es, and spatial transcriptomics.


About you

The successful candidate must have:



  • A PhD in a quantitative subject, or be close to completing one. Equivalent research experience will also be considered.
  • An undergraduate degree, or Masters, or equivalent in a quantitative field.
  • Skills in bioinformatics, computing, and coding in languages such as R, Python, and other scripting languages as appropriate.
  • Experience using high-performance computing (HPC) systems for scientific research.
  • Experience with computational biology research methodologies relevant to the role.


Department/Directorate Information

The Data Science Committee, chaired by Professor Trevor Graham, provides academic leadership in data science at the ICR. It aims to maximize the impact of cancer research through innovative data science and computational tools, and to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place.
