Data Scientist

Full time

£60,000 - £65,000 + benefits

Remote - a couple of days a month in office


My client is a large InsurTech looking for a Data Scientist to join the growing team where you will be responsible for advanced modelling techniques to provide insights for the business. You will collaborate to show best practises and assist in delivering the predictive analytics for the function


Key Responsibilities:

  • Use advanced analytical techniques, mine data to derive insights to help inform business decisions including statis
  • Work to develop key metrics for assessing model impact and benefit assessment
  • Work on developing our AB testing framework in areas such as marketing and beyond, leveraging our cloud platform and infrastructure to create effective roll out of models and analytics
  • Present results to senior stakeholders and manage projects along the entire life cycle



You will have the following:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Data Analyst/Data Science role
  • Proficient with Python data science stack
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Experience with Notebooks (or equivalent) and version control (eg. Git)
  • Experience in working with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Spark, Databricks, Tableau and large scale A/B testing are a plus
