On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager for an initial 6 month contract based in London on a hybrid basis.

Purpose of the Role:

The Data Platform Product Manager will join the Global Data Services Data Platforms and Engineering team within Arup's Digital Technology Group and will be responsible for:

Leading Product Management for Arup's global data platform, defining strategic direction and aligning with business needs.
Providing leadership for domain-focused Product Managers in areas like Data Science, Engineering, Geospatial, Corporate Services, and Sustainability.
Delivering core platform management by defining product strategy, managing demand, creating capabilities, and leading the product development process.
Collaborating with teams (engineering, business analysts, solution architects, etc.) to implement and roll out data platform capabilities.
Engaging stakeholders to gather feedback, validate ideas, ensure alignment, and elevate customer satisfaction.What we require from the Data Platform Product Manager:

Craft compelling value propositions from market requirements.
Define business cases and carry out value analysis.
Product road mapping.
Backlog definition and management for agile deliveries.
Fluent in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Knowledge of data platforms, management and governance.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Desirable criteria include:

Experience of product management for modern data platforms in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
Background or experience of working in Architecture Engineering and Design Consultancy digital teams.
Experience of Safe Essential/Large solution in complex environments
