Overview:

Akkodis are partnering with a highly reputable brand in the Insurance sector who are looking to hire an experienced Data Modeller / Business Data Analyst with strong Data Modelling experience and the ability to work with large data sets.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that data is ingested, interfaced, transformed and disseminated in a manner that preserves granularity and lineage, meets the needs of colleagues in the Information, Analytics and Data Governance spaces and is compliant, robust and future proof
Identify appropriate solutions under the guidance of enterprise and solution architecture and subject matter experts.
Contribute to the Data Architecture / Governance project control gate, to help projects align to the overall Data Strategy and to incrementally build out the future data landscape

Experience required:

Must have proven Data Modelling experience helping to build Data Architecture
Absolutely must have proven Insurance experience preferably London marker
Must have experience gathering Data requirements and collation of these to inform the future direction of data capabilities
Previous experience working with Analytics and Data Scientists with awareness of areas such as Machine Learning etc.
Experience in the design and implementation of dashboards and reporting as well as creation of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and data repositories
Must be comfortable and competent working largely autonomously and independently
