Contract Role – Data Engineer (Software Development, Big Tech Company) – London/Remote – 3 Months Initial – Inside IR35 PAYE


We are seeking an exceptionalData Engineerwill be responsible for performing day-to-day data engineering tasks to support the High Touch Support space, with a focus on improving user experience and customer satisfaction. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, architectures, and solutions that enable the organization to make data-driven decisions and drive business outcomes.


Role Overview:

  • Job Title:Data Engineer
  • Location:London/Remote
  • Contract Type:Contract
  • Duration:3 months initially


  • SQL – 5+ years
  • Python – 5+ years
  • Data Modelling, Data visualization - Tableau, micro strategy etc and integration tools: Azure Data Factory, Airflow etc- 5+ years
  • BI and integration tools: Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with data analysing will be a plus.
  • Process certification, such as, Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI
  • Software Development, Tech – Enterprise level background is essential

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
  • Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
  • Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
  • Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts.

Skills:

  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborate with data architects, modelers and IT team members on project goals.
  • Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
