Job Title: Data Engineer – Risk & AI Team

Company Overview

Team Mission

The Risk & AI team within Customer Success partners directly with clients to deliver cutting-edge risk prevention solutions. We design strategies, build models, implement data pipelines, and provide enablement training—all while collaborating across departments to ensure excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess raw client data for quality and usability
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enrichment
  • Automate data validation and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with data scientists on feature engineering workflows
  • Optimize data workflows for performance and cost across cloud/on-prem environments
  • Lead client discussions on data architecture and integration strategies
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research to enhance platform capabilities
  • Mentor junior engineers on best practices and coding standards

Required Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python (or Go/Scala)
  • Experience with distributed data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Knowledge of modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ML data pipelines and feature stores
  • Resource optimization and system/application monitoring expertise
