Key Responsibilities

  • Build and optimise the underlying infrastructure for replicating data into an Azure SQL data warehouse.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards that support:
  • Commercial insights – product & territory performance (B2C & B2B), price-point efficiency, stock turnaround, demographic analysis.
  • Finance insights – order-level margin analysis, forecasting, historical performance, customer and vendor payment behaviour, revenue/margin reporting.
  • Connect and integrate data sources including Shopify, CRM, payment gateways, SAGE, STYLEman ERP, and partner programmes.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into practical BI solutions with strong usability and commercial/financial relevance.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and governance of BI solutions in Azure.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and data modelling.
  • Proven track record in Power BI development (advanced DAX, deployment pipelines, paginated reports).
  • Hands-on experience integrating both commercial/e-commerce and finance/ERP data sources.
  • Understanding of financial reporting and margin/revenue analytics.
  • Ability to manage requirements, work independently, and deliver within tight timelines.
