  • Work with the Tech team to ensure all data coming out of systems is of high quality and uses consistent definitions.
  • Collect business requirements from across departments to build out Oh Polly future data strategy
  • Apply best practice data quality, data governance, project management strategies and techniques.
  • Proactively assist in problem solving within the team and across teams

Requirements

  • You are technical by nature, with experience across a variety of programming languages (SQL, Python are essential)
  • Experienced in working with server and/or cloud SQL databases

  • Driven by best-practice and doing things the right way
  • Well organised with a systematic approach to work and close attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Have 2+ year’s experience working in a similar engineering capacity.
  • An understanding of data processes and experience working with and/or developing ETL processes
  • Experience of manipulating/analysing data from large databases.
  • Project Management qualifications (e.g. Prince, Agile); ideal but not essential
