Data Engineer (Contract, Hybrid/Office-Based) – Warwick, UK

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your skills directly impact business decisions? We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Warwick, UK.

About the Role:

As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our weather data product. Your expertise will help streamline data workflows, ensure seamless integration with Snowflake, and leverage Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver small enhancement requests and improve data products.

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and DataOps practices.

  • Integrate data workflows with Snowflake to support analytics and reporting.

  • Communicate effectively across teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  • Hands-on experience with Logic Apps and DataOps methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake data platform

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in data engineering and cloud environments

  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills

    Contract Details:

  • Location: Warwick, UK (Office-based)

  • Duration: 6 months, rolling

  • Rate: Competitive, aligned with market standards (minimum market rate approx. £500-£600/day)

  • Mode: Fully office-based
