This is the job

We are seeking talented Data Delivery Managers to join our dynamic Data team during this exciting transformation. You will drive key business outcomes, manage project plans, risks, and budgets, and foster effective relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams. Your role will also involve contributing to the wider Delivery community by sharing best practices and embedding process improvements.

What will I be doing?

  • Track all Data project costs, perform variance analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure spending aligns with approved budgets. n
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute accurate project plans, ensuring timely and proactive action. n
  • Collaborate with the wider Data delivery team to manage dependencies and control associated risks across data projects. n
  • Host essential project meetings, including kick-off calls, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, to ensure effective delivery management and team collaboration. n
  • Establish excellent relationships and communication forums with stakeholders to deliver project updates and communications. n
  • Identify, mitigate, and recommend solutions for risks and issues that could impact project completion within agreed timeframes. n

What do I need?

  • n
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Delivery/Project Manager, with expertise in various methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). n
  • Superior communication and influencing skills, capable of facilitating workshops, leading discussions, and achieving consensus. n
  • Strong skills in communication briefing, data management for project updates, and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira). n
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with desirable but not compulsory experience in the Insurance Industry and knowledge of regulatory bodies (e.g., FCA). n
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience, with beneficial but not essential Project Management qualifications (Prince2, Agile). n
  • Excellent time management, multitasking abilities, and leadership skills, with a keen understanding of change control, configuration processes, and risk management  n
