Duration: 6 Months

Location: Crewe (3 days in the office)

Role Overview:

As the Data Architect, you will spearhead the development of a comprehensive IT data architecture strategy and roadmap. Your mission will be to build and deliver both a data strategy and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with external governance, including GDPR.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and define cutting-edge data architecture, including data warehousing and visualisation tools.
  • Ensure the highest levels of data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Implement and maintain robust data governance practises.
  • Manage requirements for architecture standards in alignment with both our organisation and the VW Group.
  • Support operational alignment with the Beyond 100 strategy and our data office strategy.
  • Ensure meticulous data documentation and cataloguing.
  • Maintain governed access to accurate and authoritative data sources.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Enterprise Architects to challenge and enhance our existing IT technology portfolios.
  • Facilitate bi-lateral communication of Proof of Technology/Proof of Concept between our organisation and the VW Group.
  • Align our solutions with VW standards to ensure seamless integration.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by developing and enhancing your knowledge of the latest IT & Data solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate best-in-class solutions to elevate our offerings.
  • Support the Bentley data community by providing vital information, training, and coaching.
