Summary of role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join our IT team. This role is based in our Head Office in Central London (NW1 4LJ), with a hybrid working model. We are also offering a competitive salary of up to £87,000 per annum plus a fantastic array of benefits.

Job Profile

The Data Architect will be responsible for the design, development, and management of The London Clinic’s data architecture. This will be achieved by identifying strategic data requirements across TLC, and designing appropriate models aligned to organisational and technology strategy and vision.

Specifically, the role will collaboratively work with TLC colleagues in defining and maintaining TLC’s data models using the appropriate reference models and Healthcare data standards.

  • Job Type:This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Salary:Up to £87,000 per annum
  • Location:1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ (Baker Street and Regents Park stations) – this role will offer a 50/50 hybrid working approach.

Key Duties

  • Owning the current and target state data architecture and models, providing hands-on data architecture leadership, guiding and shaping data solutions across The London Clinic.
  • Producing and communicating logical and conceptual data models of key TLC clinical and non-clinical processes and data flows using ERDs, use cases, process diagrams or other appropriate visualisation tools.
  • Consulting with infrastructure, project and product teams to ensure consistency with the data architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the data architecture.
  • Leading the analysis of data and market trends in the technology and healthcare industry to determine their potential impact on TLC’s business strategy, direction and architecture.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3–5 years’ experience of defining and implementing data architecture solutions and data strategies within a Healthcare context is essential.
  • Experience of defining and implementing data architecture solutions and data strategies within a commercial context e.g. B2C, B2B, ERP etc is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a related data domain technical role, working in both a waterfall and agile context.
  • Experience of designing relational DBMS, data warehouses and business intelligence capabilities.
