My client is a rapidly growing specialist insurance broker, catering to large clients with complex and unique needs. The company has experienced significant expansion and is currently focused on developing its business and technology infrastructure at a fast pace. As part of this journey, they are looking for a skilled Data Analytics Developer to join their team and contribute to their data-driven transformation.

Role Overview:
The Data Analytics Developer will play a key role in improving data quality, developing analytics solutions, and driving innovation. This position requires a strong technical background in data engineering, analytics, and cloud-based technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Skills & Experience Required:

Strong experience with cloud-based data technologies, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines (Azure required, GCP desirable).

Proficiency in cloud data platform architecture for secure data ingestion, storage, transformation, and reporting.

Expertise in data modeling and transformation, ensuring clean, tested, and reusable datasets.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau (experience with Looker or Domo is a plus).

Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools on Azure and Google Cloud.

Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like GitHub.

Performance tuning skills for optimizing data queries and storage in cloud environments.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation and data integration tasks.

Experience with data governance, security best practices, and compliance regulations.

Knowledge of insurance concepts, metrics, and CRM data is essential.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in analytics solutions, including Power BI, Looker, and Domo.

Strong SQL and T-SQL experience.

Experience in designing and implementing data models.

Familiarity with cloud storage solutions (Azure Data Lake essential, Google Cloud Storage desirable).

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT solutions such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and BigQuery.

Experience in building interactive reports and dashboards, particularly from Salesforce into CRMA (desirable).

Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment with Azure DevOps, monitoring, and source control.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Experience delivering solutions following industry best practices and standards.
